The next month will see iPad versions of Vanity Fair and Wired, followed by The New Yorker and Glamour sometime in the summer.</p>

<p>An average price drop of 15 per cent pushed laptop sales up by 31 per cent over 2008, according to a report released today by the market research company NPD Group on computer and info tech products. The growing popularity of laptops has come at the expense of desktop computers, which saw sales drop 15 per cent from the year earlier.</p>
