Internet Evolution – Alan Reiter: This week the blogosphere and mainstream media have been — dare I say it? — a-twitter over the possibility of Google launching a "Google Drive" or GDrive cloud-based storage for your files. Many reports gushed over the prospect of unlimited online storage as being "game changing." TR Daily suggests GDrive would make local hard drives obsolete. What rubbish!
