Calgary Herald: With international concern mounting over Canada's aging Chalk River reactor in eastern Ontario and its bomb-grade nuclear waste, the Harper government is being urged to explore new ways of creating medical isotopes.
"The problem is critical," says a report in the British journal Nature Thursday that calls on the Canadian government to work toward a safer, more reliable supply of the radioactive molecules.
